Talent Network Experience
Talent Network Update

Your modernized Talent Network experience is here

Everything you already do in Talent Network is still here — now with a clearer layout and a more guided experience so you can manage members, promote events, and track outcomes with confidence.

What’s Improved

A cleaner way to manage members, events, and results

The new Talent Network experience keeps your core workflow intact while making the most important actions easier to find and use.

Before

Talent Network worked — but key actions could feel buried, navigation wasn’t always obvious, and it wasn’t getting updated moving forward.

Improved

A refreshed, more intuitive layout that makes candidates easier to find — so you can spend less time navigating and more time engaging members and tracking results.

1

Find what you need faster

Clearer navigation and a streamlined layout help you get to members, events, and insights with fewer clicks.

2

Stay organized as you grow

Better filtering and views make it easier to segment members by role interest, location, join date, and more.

3

Reach the right people at the right time

Members still receive job recommendations automatically, now with SMS included, and you can manually invite members to apply when you want to drive action.

4

Understand performance at a glance

Updated reporting helps you track visits, signups, and conversions so you can see what’s working and where to improve.

Nothing is being removed — just improved

Your Talent Network data and day-to-day workflow stay exactly the same. This update focuses on a faster, cleaner experience that’s easier to learn and easier to use.

  • No manual data migration
  • No setup required
  • No workflow changes

Members Understanding the Members list What each field means and how to use the list day to day.

What this is

The Members list is where you manage everyone who has joined your Talent Network, sometimes called “leads.” Members are not the same thing as job applicants — when someone applies to a job, they’ll appear in your Candidates area instead.

What you can do here

  • View new and existing Talent Network members
  • Filter members to find the right segment, including role interest, location, and date joined
  • Open a member profile to review details, message them, add notes, and invite them to jobs

What you’ll see in the list

  • Name: Member’s name submitted on the join form
  • Desired job title: The role they’re interested in, used for matching
  • Location: City / State / ZIP. ZIP is especially important for matching radius.
  • Email: Used for messaging and job recommendation emails
  • Phone: Optional; some members may include it
  • Resume status: Whether they uploaded a resume, if offered
  • Join date: When they joined your Talent Network
Member vs Candidate: Members joined your Talent Network and may receive job recommendations. Candidates applied to a job and move through your hiring pipeline.

Where members come from

  • Your Talent Network join form
  • Your job applications, in most cases
  • An event registration flow, since events funnel into the same join experience

Good to know

A person joins per company. If someone wants to join multiple companies’ Talent Networks, they must join each one separately, even with the same email.

Troubleshooting

“I’m not seeing any members.”

  • Confirm your Talent Network is enabled for your account.
  • Confirm externally facing join links are pointing to the correct, current Talent Network URL.
Members Filter and search members Segment members by role interest, location, join date, and resume upload.

What this is

Filters help you quickly find the right members — by interest, location, activity, and timing — so you can follow up effectively and measure engagement.

Where filtering happens

In the Talent Network → Members area, you’ll see filtering controls above the list. You can also switch between a Card view and a List view depending on how you prefer to scan members.

Filters available

  • Desired job title: Use this to find members interested in a specific role family.
  • City: Best for dense metro areas where many ZIPs are possible.
  • State: Good for broad geographic segmentation.
  • ZIP code: Useful for tighter targeting and match behavior.
  • Resume upload status: Show members who uploaded a resume vs. not.
  • Join date: Filter to the last 7 days, last 30 days, or a custom range.

Recommended common segments

  • New members: Join date = last 7 days
  • High-intent members: Resume uploaded = Yes
  • Local outreach: Desired job title = “X” + State = “Y” or ZIP = target area
  • Event follow-up: Join date = event week

What “search” filters mean

Some fields are search filters, like job title and city, because members can type anything. These are not limited to a preset dropdown list.

Troubleshooting

“My filters aren’t returning expected members.”

  • Try a broader job-title keyword, like “driver” instead of “delivery driver.”
  • Remove one filter at a time to see which one is narrowing too much.
  • Double-check you’re filtering the correct date range.
Members Member profiles: review details + actions Open a member profile to review info, message members, add notes, and invite them to jobs.

What this is

A Member profile shows the full record for an individual Talent Network member, including details from their join submission and the actions your team can take.

How to open a member profile

  1. Go to Talent Network → Members.
  2. Click a member card or row, or select View profile from the member menu.

What you can review

  • Contact info, including name, email, and optional phone
  • Desired job title
  • City/state/ZIP
  • Resume, if uploaded
  • Previous job invites, manual or automated
  • Previous applications

Actions you can take

1) Add Notes: Use internal notes to capture context like “Interested in night shifts” or “Follow up after job fair.”

2) Message the member: Message members from their profile. Replies come back via email and appear as a thread in the profile’s message/chat area.

3) Invite to job: Send the member a link to apply to one or more active jobs — especially helpful for urgent roles.

Manual invite vs Auto-match: Match means the system automatically sent an invitation when a relevant job was activated. Manual means a user sent it through Invite to job.

Troubleshooting

“I don’t see a resume download.” Resume upload is optional, so many members won’t submit one.

“A member isn’t showing any matched jobs.” Matching depends on desired job title + location radius and triggers when jobs are activated.

Jobs How to create a job posting directly in Sprockets Set up prerequisites, create jobs, configure settings, manage jobs at scale, and understand sync behavior.

What this guide covers

  1. Set up prerequisites: Locations, Hiring Managers + notifications, and Application Forms
  2. Create a job and understand what Active means
  3. Edit job configuration, including forms, hiring managers, interview settings, and posting status
  4. Manage jobs at scale with filters, quick filters, bulk edit, and export
  5. Understand important sync considerations when jobs come from CareerBuilder/Monster feeds

1) Before you create a job: prerequisites & setup

In V2, job creation typically starts by selecting a Location and an Application Form, so it’s worth getting these set up first.

1.1 Add or confirm Locations

Where: Admin / Company Settings → Locations

  1. Open Locations.
  2. Click Add location.
  3. Enter the location details, name at minimum.
  4. Save and confirm the location appears and is selectable when creating a job.

Why it matters: Locations are used in job setup, filters, and analytics. Some workflows also expect a job to have a location.

1.2 Add Hiring Managers and confirm notifications

Where: Admin / Company Settings → Users

  1. Go to Users and invite/add the hiring manager.
  2. Confirm the hiring manager is associated with the right locations, if your account uses location-based access.
  3. Confirm notification settings so they receive alerts.

If your account uses interview scheduling, confirm calendar integration and availability are set up.

1.3 Create or choose an Application Form

Where: Admin → Forms, often under Workspace Resources.

  1. Open Forms.
  2. Create a new form or pick an existing one.
  3. Add the questions and fields you need.
  4. Save.
  5. Select the form during job creation.
Note: If candidates apply through external Easy Apply-style sources, custom questions may not behave the same way as a full on-site application.

2) Create the job

Where: Jobs → Add job or New job

  1. Go to Jobs.
  2. Click Add job.
  3. Select Location, optional Job tags, Application form, and Job title.
  4. Continue to Job description and paste/write the description or choose a template.
  5. Add pay details if applicable.
  6. Save.

Active vs Inactive

  • Active: The job is live/visible where candidates can view and apply.
  • Inactive: The job remains in your system but is not live to candidates.

What happens after activation

If Talent Network is enabled, new or activated jobs can trigger auto-matching outreach to relevant members based on desired job title and ZIP radius, with a delay to prevent accidental sends.

3) Configure a job after creation

Open the job detail page and use the gear/configuration area, if available, to edit settings. Common settings include job title, tags, application form, job offer template, hiring managers, interview configuration, posting status, and highlighted status.

4) Manage your Jobs list

Use search and filters to manage jobs by location, tags, active/inactive status, employment type, application form, job offer template, job description template, and other account-specific filters.

Quick Filters: Save commonly used filter combinations so you don’t have to rebuild them every time.

Bulk actions: Bulk edit jobs or export selected jobs. Double-check filters and selected jobs before applying a bulk edit.

5) Job sync behavior

If a job was created in CareerBuilder/Monster and synced into Sprockets, edits made in Sprockets may be overwritten on the next sync.

Best practice: If you need full control over job content inside Sprockets, contact support to disable the sync so you can create the job directly in Sprockets.

Troubleshooting

  • “I can’t add the location I need.” Admins can manage locations in Admin → Locations.
  • “Hiring managers aren’t getting notifications.” Check notification settings and calendar integration/availability if scheduling is involved.
  • “My application form isn’t available.” Confirm the form exists in Admin → Forms and that you have permission to use it.
  • “My job changes disappeared.” External syncs can overwrite edits. Create jobs directly in Sprockets for persistent edits.
Events Create an event that drives signups Create an event, add details, and understand how it funnels job seekers into the Talent Network form.

What this is

Events let you promote hiring events, virtual or in-person, that funnel job seekers into your Talent Network. When someone registers, they complete a join flow that adds them as a Talent Network member.

Create an event

  1. Go to Events.
  2. Click Create event.
  3. Enter the event name, brief description, location or “Virtual,” date and start/end time, and registration URL.
  4. Save the event.

What candidates see

  • Your event appears on the job board under Upcoming events.
  • Clicking Register routes them through the Talent Network join flow, then redirects them to your registration URL.

Best practices to increase signups

  • Use a title that matches candidate intent, like “Open Interviews: Warehouse Associates.”
  • Add a short description with roles you’re hiring for, what to bring, how to prepare, and whether it’s walk-in, scheduled, or virtual.
  • Ensure the registration URL is live and mobile-friendly.
Note: Event times are static and not time zone-aware. For virtual events across time zones, include the time zone in the description.
Career Page Update your landing page content Edit sections, buttons, images, links, navigation, and footer content to reflect your employer brand.

What this is

Your Career Page is the branded landing page you build around your job board. It can include custom sections, navigation links, and a footer — while Jobs and Talent Network navigation may be automatically shown based on enabled features.

Before you start

Your account must have a job board created. You’ll also want to make sure your company branding is up to date in settings.

Edit your career page

  1. In the Hiring App, go to Admin → Company Settings.
  2. Make sure your branding is up to date.
  3. Go back to Admin → Career Pages.
  4. Click Edit Website.

Update page sections

  • Banner: Hero image/color, headline, and optional CTA button
  • Job search: Search bar that routes to the job board
  • Standard content: Text, images, and optional CTA sections

Best practices

  • Put your strongest “why work here” content above the fold.
  • Use one clear CTA, like “View Jobs” or “Join Talent Network.”
  • Keep images high-resolution and on-brand.

Update navigation links

Core links like Home / Jobs / Talent Network may appear automatically based on your account’s feature set. You can also add external links like About Us, Benefits, or Company Site.

Update the footer

Add or update privacy policy links, terms links, and social links. If you leave a footer field blank, that footer element is hidden.

Analytics Dashboard overview: what the metrics mean Understand visits, signups, conversion flow, and performance signals.

What this is

Your Dashboard helps you track activity across your job board and Talent Network — especially traffic → signups → applications — so you can see what’s working and where to optimize.

What you can measure

  • Active jobs
  • Career site / job board visits
  • Total Talent Network members
  • Funnel performance, including visits, Join clicks, signups, and applications/EOI
  • Maps showing distribution of jobs and members, where available
  • Email-related performance, with limited tracking depending on email client restrictions

Key metrics defined

1) Site visits / unique visits: How many times people visited your career site or job board. Unique visits approximate distinct visitors.

2) Join Now clicks: How many visitors clicked a Join or Talent Network entry point.

3) Talent Network signups: How many people completed the join flow and became members.

4) Expressions of interest / applications: Members who take a next step, commonly applying to a job after joining.

5) Conversion rate: The percent of Talent Network members who later apply for a job.

Reading the funnel

  • If visits are high but signups are low, your join CTA, copy, or placement may need improvement.
  • If signups are high but applications are low, you may need better matching or more active jobs aligned to member interest.
Known limitation: Email engagement tracking is limited across the industry because many email clients block tracking pixels. Treat email stats as directional, not perfect.

Troubleshooting

“Why don’t I see Talent Network cards?” Some cards appear only when Talent Network is enabled for your account and may vary by configuration/version.

No tutorials match that search. Try a different keyword or reset the filters.
FAQs

Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about the new Talent Network experience.

Do I need to do anything to prepare for the update?

No — there’s no setup required. When the update is live, you can log in and continue working as usual.

Will I lose any members, resumes, or history?

No. Your members have all been migrated so that you can still access them. For resumes, please contact BOLD customer service to request them as they were not migrated to our platform.

Are my workflows changing?

Your core workflow stays the same: members join your Talent Network, you can review and segment them, and they can receive job recommendations when relevant roles go live.

Where do I find my Talent Network members now?

Look for the Members (Talent Network) area in your navigation — this is where you’ll see everyone who has joined, along with filters and actions.

Can I filter members by job interest and location?

Yes. You can filter by desired job title and location details like city/state/ZIP to focus on the right group.

Can I save filters or views?

Your account supports saved views called “Quick Filters,” so you can reuse frequently used filters.

How does auto-matching work?

When a job is activated, Talent Network can automatically email members who match based on their desired job title and location radius.

When do matching emails send after I post a job?

Typically after a short delay — so quick changes to a job, like activating/deactivating, don’t trigger unnecessary messages.

Can I manually invite someone to apply to a job?

Yes. You can select a member and send an invite to one or more open roles — helpful when you want to drive action for a key opening.

How does messaging work with members?

You can message members from their profile, and replies are tracked in the conversation thread so your team has context.

What happens when a member applies to a job?

They move from being a Talent Network member into your applicant/candidate workflow for that job, so they’re managed like other candidates.

Do events still work the same way?

Yes. Events are still designed to funnel job seekers into your Talent Network signup flow.

Is anything in Talent Network an add-on?

Feature availability can vary by account. If you’re unsure whether something is included, like certain analytics or configuration options, contact support and we’ll confirm for your plan.
